Friday Jam: R U Mine? - Arctic Monkeys

Saw these kids last week with The Black Keys. (My first non-local show since Wilco in 2009. whoa.)

The show was great, both sets. With enough raw guitar and killer drums to make you swoon. (Speaking of swooning, uh, Alex Turner, I give the new greaser look a thumbs up.)

Anyway, since I listened to The Black Keys all last week in prep for the show, I’ve spent some time with the Arctic Monkeys this week. A lot of people are calling “sell-out”, but I am seriously digging their new direction.

They released this song just before the tour, and I’ve been listening to it… a lot.
